Hi, I’m Miguel D’Eon. I live in Tusket with my wife and our three kids.
My great-grandfather, Pierre Leon Muise, ran the only store in Quinan through the Great Depression. Times were hard and money was scarce, so he fed families on a tab, you ate first and settled up when you could. Sometimes a tab grew past what a family could ever pay in cash. When that happened, they’d trade with land. Back then land wasn’t worth much as much. It was what people had.
I’ve always had an appreciation for what a piece of land is really worth. Not the asking price, what it can give you. The right parcel can provide for a family for a long, long time.
What I care about most is getting people onto land they actually own. I’ll gladly work with folks who don’t have deep pockets, because I’d rather help someone stop renting for life and start building something of their own. That’s the whole reason Hop Properties exists.
